MACD Indicator: How to use a Moving Average Convergence Divergence strategy

The moving average convergence divergence or MACD is one of the simplest and most effective momentum indicators. The MACD uses two moving averages, a fast moving average and a slow moving average, and turns them into a great momentum and trend following indicator. This indicator uses the difference between short term and long term price trends to anticipate price movements.
